Playnastics (Pre-school Playgroup)
Toddlers through age 5 (pre K) may bring their parents to come and play together in the gym. J&R Gymnastics is simply an awesome playgroup destination for pre-school children and their parent(s). The gym has lots of equipment and mats to keep kids excited and active. An indoor, climate controlled, facility has some real advantages for our area of weather extremes.

Friday Night Fun
J & R turns into a FUN ZONE!
Get ready for a 3 hour high-energy playtime in the gym for Friday Night Fun. A mixture of open play and structured games keeps kids excited. A light snack is provided. Our staff closely supervises and directs this event to ensure safety and lots of good times. This event is open to all children ages 5-11. Space is limited, so register online or through the J&R app to reserve a spot. Dates and times vary by club, so see listing below. Note: Holidays may effect specific Fridays in some months.
Friday Night Fun – New Braunfels Gym
2nd Friday of the month, 8:00-11:00pm, $25 Members; $30 Non Members, all Friday registrations will be $35.

4th Friday of the month, 8:00-11:00pm, $25 Members; $30 Non Members, all Friday registrations will be $35

Open Gym
These 90-minute sessions at our New Braunfels Gym provide students aged 6-14 to come into the gym for a coach supervised, self directed workout time. Athletes may work completely independently or ask coaches for help with specific skills or apparatus. This presents a great way to get additional time on favored equipment and/or work on areas that need the most improvement. Check our FACEBOOK page for dates and times.

Field Trips
J&R Gymnastics loves to be the field trip destination for a wide array of youth groups. Usually students visit the gym for 90 minutes and enjoy a mix of directed instruction on various apparatus plus open time to discover things on their own. The coaching staff directs and supervises the entire event. The trips are scheduled by appointment so we control the group size to ensure the gym is never overcrowded.
Public and private schools regularly make the gym a fun activity-based trip. This is especially true near the end of the school year. We work with many teachers, room moms, PE coaches and PTA/PTO groups to coordinate days and times. From a single class to an entire school, we are happy to work with any sized group. Church youth groups, girl scouts, daycares and pre-school playgroups also schedule private visits to the gym.
